Commercial Locum Solicitor(Contract)
A new locum vacancy has arisen with a small-medium sized central London niche commercial law firm. They are looking to take on a remote working commercial locum solicitor to assist with a general caseload on an ad hoc basis, as and when needed. I asked about hours and it sounds like it will be roughly 10 hours a week on average to start - sometimes more, sometimes less. Start date will be next week - a solicitor is leaving. 5 years PQE minimum and city firm experience useful but not essential. A flavour of the work they have is as follows: licensing agreements, commercial contracts, some trademark, financial services work, peer review of a more junior colleague's work. Their clients are mainly international clients investing in London and the firm are keen on someone who has a generalist background to deal with anything coming in. Clients range from smaller sized companies through to multi-national corporations. |
