A new vacancy has arisen with a lawyer working in the South Wales area and looking for additional remote support with commercial and corporate transactional work. He wants to develop a long term relationship with a couple of consultants who are able to handle his overflow work as and when needed. He currently has 2-3 matters he requires assistance with and anticipates that over a period of time he will be picking up ongoing work at a similar rate. During our conversation he estimated that there will be around 10 hours a week of work on average, but having worked on numerous ad hoc arrangements in recent times I suspect the hours will vary considerably from week to week.
Essentially he is after a consultant to assist with commercial contracts work and another to assist with corporate work. Or, if possible, someone who does both - all work is remote and not office based.
Hourly rate is going to be around the 55- 80 per hour mark we think.
