We are seeking a Systems Administrator on behalf of our client, to be based in Bristol and provide support to end users on their accounting/finance software.  This is a long term temporary role for a minimum of 6 months with the likelihood of being extended and the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Excellent hourly rate with up to two salary increments a year, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks, free parking!

As part of a team the Systems Administrator will typically be responsible for:-

  • The maintenance, monitoring and development of the Finance systems and applications, providing support to the internal customers and investigating and resolving system issues that arise.
  • Resetting passwords, changing configurations
  • E-mail / written communications
  • Data collation
  • Database administration

The successful candidate must have:-

  • Good IT skills, to include Excel
  • An ability to pick up new tasks quickly
  • Excellent communicative skills, both written and oral
  • A good standard of Maths, head for figures/numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

A financial background would be a distinct advantage due to the fact there is lots of work with numbers, as would be someone who has studied in Economics, Business or Finance. Systems knowledge would also be highly advantageous, ie SAP, Xero or Sage.

Salary for this role is £27,164.00 per annum, and shortlisted applicants will be required to complete an application form.
