Main purpose / objective of the position:
To be ensure that finance is seen as a value adding business partner. Develop Finance's influence in the making of business decisions. Management of profit projections; Ensure correct allocation of income and expenditure; Oversee the creditor payment process To establish and maintain effective support services for the property management functions in Centre
Decision making authority:
This position operates within budget parameters and Decision Making framework.
Experience / Education:
Grade 12 with further studies Accountancy II as subject or equivalent qualification / training e.g.. Associate Accounting Technician as well as 3 years relevant experience.
Computer literacy: MS Office – Advanced Excel and Word, Outlook, Nicor
Administration Skills; Time Management; People Management; Advanced Financial Calculations and reporting
Detailed knowledge of Policies and procedures, Capital expenditure, Legal aspects, Tax (including VAT), GAAP, Processing and payment of invoices, Knowledge of Batch processes and journals on JHI Financial System,, Detailed knowledge of the market and investment instruments.
Communication (Fluency in languages appropriate to target client community),

Major drivers of work volume:
Number of tenants, number of clients, complexity of reporting needs
