About the role

We have various great opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of Support Workers in Burwash Common. We have the opportunity to work 35 hours per week as a Support Worker on a permanent contract. 

We also have various part time and casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly starting rate of £8.20.

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.

We also support people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities on site – from simple exercise to music therapy, swimming to arts and crafts or cooking.

About you 

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary when needed and will include evenings and weekends; we will however provide you with a permanent rota so you can plan your life accordingly.
