Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Champion and implement change management and organisational development initiatives aimed at supporting the accomplishment of EME`s strategic objectives.

  • Provide expert guidance, coaching and support to line managers and staff on various employee relations matters, including, but not limited to recruitment and selection, salary package structuring, disciplinary, grievance and union/ negotiation matters.

  • Drive the people processes (performance, development, and career)  through line managers to ensure that employees’ level of performance and skills meet current and future standards

  • Support employees and line managers and ensures compliance with HR policy and procedures

  • Influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes, identify new opportunities where HR can add value, and maintains leading-edge knowledge of HR issues

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as the Labour Act, Affirmative Action Act, Immigration Act and NEEEF policy.

  • Facilitate the application of employee relations and employment practices in order to create a positive, ethical, effective work environment

Qualifications and experience :

  • Relevant Tertiary/B Degree in Behavioural Science

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a HR environment, preferably at a senior management level.

  • SAP experience will be advantageous
