KEY JOB OUTPUTS

Reporting

  • Monthly reporting and analysis

  • Develop and monitoring performance indicators.

  • Manage sales tracking on individual customers (TOP50)

  • Develop sales trends across customer categories.

Key account management

  • Post sales discussions, customer take on and maintenance.

  • Customer account management administratively.

  • Sales communications/ Coordinating with Ops managers.

  • Business development with existing customers.

  • Be the first contact point for customer service

Customer communication

  • Receive inbound calls and respond to calls as appropriate.

  • Attend customer meetings on request.

  • Customer relationship building with specific key accounts.

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customers to achieve customer satisfaction.

  • Gather market and customer information.

  • Develop new business via telephone

Customer administration

 

  • Quotations building with target of same day deliverable.

  • Quotations filing, follow-up and monthly reporting.

  • Sales Contracts drawn up, filing and reporting.

  • Contract reporting: summary of national reservations, escalations and expiry dates.

  • Monthly sales reporting: (Reports development and maintenance).

  • Handling of customer issues and potential claims.

  • Handling of all administrative related communications to/from customers.

  • Sales administrative assistance / communication to Operations.

  • Handle mass communication via email

  • Monthly external advertising review

  • Setting up customer meetings on request (and meeting rooms etc.) and travel arrangements.

  • Projects around market focus areas in conjunction with customer Manager’s specification.

  • Generating sales leads that develop into new customers, driven with customer department and ops managers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Team Player that is service-orientated

  • Delivers high output and is deadline driven.

  • Ability to work without supervision and use own initiative

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

  • National Diploma in Business, Marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in related field.

  • Computer literacy (MS Office on intermediate level)
