E-Commerce Manager

Contract Type: Interim for 12 months

About the Company:

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small team within our family owned, award winning, manufacturing company based in Preston!

Over the last two years Plumbs has invested heavily in developing new revenue streams. Two transactional websites were launched in 2020 and 2 more and most excitingly our new online brand  “The Naked Sofa  Co” are launching in 2021.

Due to this business diversification and growth, we are recruiting for a brand-new key position within the marketing team that will be central to developing our on-line presence.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development of our B2C e-commerce brands and be involved in the company’s flagship lead generation site.

E-Commerce Manager Responsibilities:

• Utilising the full range of techniques including, SEO, PPC, email, display etc and producing exceptional content
• Track conversion rates and make improvements
• Working with the social media team you will be expected to continue building strong long-lasting relationships with third parties, advocates, bloggers & influencers. Managing multiple agencies
• Produce weekly updates and management reports detailing spend against budgets, KPI’s, campaign performance and overall ROI 

E-Commerce Manager Requirements:

• Bags of initiative!
• A creative flair and a passion to lead the development of a key business area
• 3+ years E-Commerce Management experience
• Ability to use data to capitalise on opportunities.
• Proven track record of digital growth
• Experience of designing, delivering and monitoring paid for and social campaigns.
• Ability to grow sales as well as improving the customer journey.
• Strong reporting and excellent communication skills
