Senior Storage Administrator - VR/19506


The Company and Role:

Our client, an International Removals company based in London, is currently seeking an experienced storage administrator to join their company.

This position is responsible for processing and managing accurate records of all activity on customer accounts including customer billing, invoicing, storage and warehouse records and strong collaboration with other operational areas ensuring the business operates comprehensive financial controls.

Our client are looking for a senior administrator who is looking to progress their career long term.


Duties:

  • Ensure all invoicing and storage management records are completed accurately and on time
  • Manage storage accounts
  • Dealing with clients on storage queries, payments and outstanding invoices in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaise with the warehouse and ensure inbound/ outbound records are logged and processed in a timely manner
  • Actively ensure processes and procedures are adhered to with movements into store, inspections and deliveries out of store
  • To work in collaboration with operations and functional areas to ensure day to day activities and any other assigned tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Liaise with internal / external customers where necessary in a professional manner demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Liaise with the warehouse and ensure inbound/ outbound records are logged and processed in a timely manner
  • Participate in inventory reconciliation process when required
  • Warehouse diary management where required to actively assign tasks to facilitate internal processes
  • A small part of the role will require supporting the warehouse team to accurately input data from inbound/outbound delivery movements and planning warehouse tasks


Experience:

  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast pace, matrix, multi-cultural and changing environment
  • Experience in billing is desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with busy day to day enquiries
  • Previous 3+ years admin experience (preferably with finance understanding)
  • Professional, diligent, clear English speaking


In Return:

You will receive a salary of up to £27K plus other benefits.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.
