National Capex Project Manager (Charlene02Liberty)
Main purpose / objective of the position:
To plan, direct, coordinate and budget, either personally or through subordinate personnel, all activities concerned with the operational management of projects related to the national portfolio, whether capex, Tenant Instalation or ortherwise related which may include building construction and proactive preventative maintenance projects of assets;
Decision making authority:
This position operates within budget parameters and decision framework. Decisions are based on knowledge of systems and theory and are chosen from prescribed policies and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities:
Experience / Education:
Minimum qualification Grade 12, with Building Science / Project Management / Construction Management or similar technical tertiary qualification. Technical background and technical skills are essential. Own transport and drivers license. A minimum of 8 years experience in Operations / Facilities Management in large scale retail / commercial / industrial property environment.
Implementation and management of Service Level Agreements; Benchmark rate agreements, Cost budgeting and control; Administration principles and reporting; Strong interpersonal skills; Strong negotiation skills; Planning, Organising and Time Management; Ability to organise resources
BBBEEE Scorecard and Property charter scorecard management and implementation.
