Main purpose / objective of the position:

  1. Banking administrator responsibilities includes posting, allocating and capturing of banking transactions, maintaining records for all banking transactions and preparing reconciliations:

  • Daily uploading and posting of all bank transactions.

  • Daily receipting of all rental collections paid into the various bank accounts.

  • Clearing of general ledger control accounts.

  • Cashbook reconciliations.

  • Debit order maintenance.

  • Prepare transfers requested by Business for the controller to load onto the online banking system.

  • Enquiries to the various banks on unidentified deposits

  • Liaising with Business to assist in resolving unidentified deposits. 

  1. To attend to office administration ensuring:

  • Filing and record keeping is updated, accurate and easily retrievable.


  • Matric and preferably an NQF level 7 qualification


  • At least 3 years minimum experience within Finance and Admin    

    Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of Finance and Administration. Legislation and regulations. Computer literate

    Competencies required:


  • Proven work experience in Finance department. Hands on experience with accounting software. Advanced knowledge excel and creating spreadsheets. Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures. Time management and organization skills. Confidentiality
