FULL TIME SUPPORT WORKERS – Derby
Heathcotes Group are currently seeking Support Workers for our service in Littleover, Derby. Heathcotes Derby is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability who may have dual diagnoses, challenging behaviour and associated complex needs. Heathcotes Derby has eight ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.
The Role of a Support Worker:
Supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health diagnosis.
The role will be supporting adults on a day to day basis with promotion of choice, dignity and independent living skills.
Encouraging them to make as many independent choices as possible, supporting them to access the community on various activities and complex behaviour support; supporting individuals during times of anxiety; this will also entail supporting individuals during incidents of physically challenging behaviour.
Shift Pattern: 140 hours over one month period. Working 7.00am – 9pm – 2 shifts on followed by 4 days off on a rolling rota
