Freight Internal Sales Executive - Felixstowe - VR/22188

Our client, a large trailer operator based in Felixstowe, is looking for a Freight Internal Sales Executive to join their team in Felixstowe.

The main purpose of this role is to build strong relationships with existing customers to increase business for the company. Candidates must have a Logistics / Transport or Shipping background with experience from a similar role.

Freight Internal Sales Executive duties include:

  • Customer service / in-house sales
  • Quoting for and accepting bookings - both full and part loads
  • Liaising with the customers on the progress and any issues with their bookings
  • Developing relationships with existing customers and increasing business with them
  • Forwarding orders
  • Visiting customers (post pandemic)

Skills and Experience required from Freight Internal Sales Executive:

  • To be commercially aware, from a Logistics / Transport or Shipping background
  • Professional attitude when representing the company
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Good Analytical Skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Working hours are 08:30 to 17:30.

In return, the successful Freight Internal Sales Executive will receive a salary according to skills and experience.
