Sea / Air Freight Forwarding Sales Executive - Suffolk - VR/22157

The Company & Role:

Our client, a freight forwarding company, based in Suffolk is seeking a Freight Field Sales Executive to join their expanding team.

Field based with one/two days in the office candidate would need the following:

  • A proven track record in freight forwarding sales, targeting manufactures, SME's etc.
  • At least 5 years sales experience within a freight forwarding company
  • Experience in selling Air & Ocean Freight services

Sea / Air Freight Forwarding Sales Executive duties will include:

  • Sourcing and developing leads for new business and following-up existing warm leads
  • Developing relationships with prospects by telephone contacts, sending literature, visits
  • Contacting companies to qualify leads within the agreed target business and geographical areas
  • Organising and attending customer visits making presentations using the company sales and promotional tools
  • Bringing negotiations for new business to successful conclusions within agreed profit margins
  • Working alongside the operations teams to ensure new business is implemented successfully

In return, the successsful Sea / Air Freight Sales Executive will receive a salary depending on experience - circa 35k - 40k+ benefits
