Business Development Executive - VR/19784

The Company & Role:

Our client, an international logistics company specializing in beer, wine and spirits, are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team in Grays, Essex.

Duties:

  • Development of new business
  • Retention of existing business, maintain and develop customer relationships
  • Customer negotiations to achieve competitive cost structures
  • Handling quotation requests
  • Issue sales reports & quote requests and ensure appropriate follow up on all replies
  • Analyse statistics on a regular basis to check activity within the area and country as well as the Customer base
  • Handle any sales or operational issues requested by the network
  • Produce trade lane action plans
  • Preparation of RFQ Tenders & Proposals

Experience:

  • Proven excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Drinks business experience is desirable
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Presentable and presents the right Company image
  • Clean full drivers licence
  • A good understanding of International Freight Movement
